Project Clients
As a Project Clients you have overall responsibility for ensuring a Site Waste Management Plan is developed and implemented. You must also instruct a Principal Contractor in relation to their duties. See our free SWMP Guide for more details.
SWMP Options:
- Outsource your SWMP to the Principal Contractor or other third party such as us.
- Develop the SWMP yourself.
Either way you can check your Site Waste Management Plan obligations will be met by using our free Project Client Checklist’.
Outsourcing Your SWMP
We can fully develop and manage your Site Waste Management Plans using our own unique SWMP documentation system. You can commission us directly or require your Principal Contractor to use our services, but either way you can be assured your SWMP will be legally compliant and of a consistently high standard.
Develop you own SWMP
You are free to develop your own Site Waste Management Plan before construction begins however this must still be passed onto the Principal Contractor for updating and monitoring during construction. See our free SWMP Guide for more details.
You can use your own SWMP Template or use one of the SWMP Templates available from other organisations including our own ‘SWMP Tool.
